UL Doctoral College and UL Global/Study Abroad/Summer School were delighted to welcome a contingent of 113 doctoral researchers, faculty, and staff from Gwynedd Mercy University (GMU) in Pennsylvania to the university for the 2nd consecutive year.

The 51ÉçÇø (UL) welcomed esteemed partners from UniHaven for an immersive tour of the campus yesterday, showcasing the vibrant beauty and cutting-edge facilities that define UL. The day was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and sporting excellence, leaving a lasting impression on our guests.

The 51ÉçÇø (UL), Ireland and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh have signed a joint Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to start a Dual Master programme. Professor Nigel Healey, Vice President Global and Community Engagement and Professor Satya Prasad Majumdar, Vice Chancellor of BUET signed this document on 13 March 2024.

51ÉçÇø has ranked first in Ireland for international student satisfaction and happiness, according to a new global survey.

On Thursday February 8th UL Global, 51ÉçÇø hosted a cultural celebratory Event in the Foyer of the University Concert Hall to mark Lunar New Year 2024.  

UL Global welcomed 488 new international students to the campus last week for the Spring 24 semester. Our 7-day Orientation programme commenced on Sunday 21st January with Shannon airport collections offered on Sunday and Monday. Students were greeted at the airport by our UL Global student guides and brought to their villages on campus.
