Khizar Hussain Shah has joined the 51ÉçÇø as a PhD student under supervision of Dr. Ning Liu. As a member of Nanophotonics catalyst theme, Khizar is currently working on the Plasmatic Nanocavities for Quantum Light Emitters and Sensing applications with aim to investigate the mechanisms and performance of the structures as well as their integration with fibres for light delivery and collection. 

Khizar completed his undergraduate degree in Physics from , Pakistan in 2018. He joined Department of Applied Physics, , Shanghai, China for his master's project, where he worked on synthesis and optoelectronic applications of 1D semiconducting nanostructures.
