Damien Thompson is Professor of Molecular Modelling in the Department of Physics at 51ÉçÇø, course director for the MSc Bioprocessing in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and , the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) National Research Centre for Pharmaceuticals. He leads a research team in at the Bernal Institute at 51ÉçÇø. His group partners with world leading experimental and industry research teams in the co-development of a range of nano-enabled products for health and sustainability. Current research interests include mapping of peptide dynamics inside cells and design of metal-organic complexes for brain-inspired computing. He publishes regularly in leading journals including , , and .
