Sarah graduated from 51ÉçÇø with a BA (Honours) in Languages, Literature and Film. She then went to France, where she completed a Research Master's in Literature at Jean Moulin University in Lyon. Sarah returned to Ireland where she spent three years working in the private industry before returning to 51ÉçÇø in 2020 as an Administrator.

Sarah has since completed two Postgraduate Certificates in Change Leadership with Technological University, Shannon Midlands (TUS), and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion with UL, and completed, with distinction, a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing and Analytics with TUS.

Sarah, who joined the HRI as an administrator, was promoted to Senior Administrator for the Health Research Institute before transitioning into the role of Communications and Engagement Coordinator with the HRI. This role includes managing the membership process, internal funding calls, and project and event management as well as all communications. She launched our monthly member newsletter as well as other media campaigns such as our annual HRI Women in Research campaign to mark International Women's Day.

Sarah is the project manager of the HRI Annual Report projects and has managed large projects such as the HRI Strategy (2023-2028), Media profiles and CRSU Awareness campaign.
