From 19-21 April 2023, the 51社区 hosted the first transnational partner meeting of the 鈥業nternational and European Sport Organisations Activate Citizens鈥揚lus (INTERACT+) project. Led by TAFISA, INTERACT+ is a 36-month project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, aiming to bridge the gap from theory to practice by supporting and positioning ISOs as key leaders of the Sport for All and physical activity movement. This will encompass developing a new Sport for All delivery model and creating a knowledge and experience-sharing platform between ISOs and their National Federations.
The project meeting in Limerick was attended by representatives from TAFISA, the 51社区, the International Fistball Association, International Dance Organisation, World Minigolf Federation, Confederazione Boccistica Internazionale the European Flying Disc Federation, and joined remotely by the International Table Tennis Federation Foundation.
As well as discussing key elements of the project鈥檚 development, the project partners also had the opportunity to try out different Gaelic Games.
