Bio

Dr. Andrey Bezrukov is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Crystal Engineering Research Group at the 51����, Ireland.

He was born in Novosibirsk (Russia), where he later received Diploma in Chemistry from the Novosibirsk State University.  His Ph.D. project was performed at the University of Bergen (Norway), with Prof. Pascal D. C. Dietzel as the main supervisor. Dissertation title: “Development of metal-organic frameworks with hydroxyl and phosphine functionalities for potential applications in adsorption and catalysis.”

His current research focuses on crystal engineering of materials for energy-efficient capture and separation. His work includes analysis of powder X-ray diffraction data and data mining from crystallographic databases.
