Bio
I completed my BSc. (Hons.) in Chemistry at NUI, Galway. I joined the Crystal Engineering group at UL as a PhD candidate in June 2016, under the joint supervision of Dr. Michael Zaworotko and Dr. Tofail Syed. I am primarily concerned with modelling the binding sites of porous materials, with current emphasis on the potential of hybrid ultra-microporous materials (HUMs) for gas adsorption applications, and of chiral porous materials and frameworks for enantiomeric identification and separation purposes.
