The Limerick Centre for Early Modern Studies (CEMS) in association with the Limerick Civic Trust were delighted to host Professor Meidhbhín Ní Úrdail for the first in its Annual Máire Ní Chrualaoich Public Lectures in Medieval & Early Modern Local Studies.

On Tuesday, 16 April, Professor Ní Úrdail gave a lecture in the People's Museum at No. 2 Pery Square before a large audience on the subject of 'Irish-language culture in Thomond in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries'.
