Léann na Sionainne, a volume of 13 essays on different aspects of Irish language and literature was officially launched by Prof. Pádraig Ó Macháin (UCC), at the An Béal Beo: Foclóireacht agus Frásaíocht na Gaeilge conference on 24th November 2023 (Cork).

The book was published by Cló Léann na Gaeilge, and edited by Aengus Ó Fionnagáin & Gordon Ó Riain of Léann na Gaeilge, 51ÉçÇø.

The volume includes essays by colleagues in Léann na Gaeilge, Dr Síle de Cléir & Dr Ailbhe Nic Giolla Chomhaill, along with contributions by former colleagues such as Tríona Ní Shíocháin, Riona Ní Churtáin, Éamonn Costello, and Cassie Smith-Christmas.

Léann na Sionainne was short-listed for this year's Gradam Uí Shúilleabháin book awards.
